Our story
Growtech Organic Farm is a woman-led indoor farming company in Sector 128, Noida. We built Noida's first indoor saffron cultivation lab and India's first fully automated saffron cultivation lab, where technology, sustainability and empowerment come together.
From Pampore to Noida
Our founder, Prerika Saxena, moved from a successful career as a senior architect into farming. After visiting Pampore in Kashmir and training hands-on in traditional saffron cultivation, she set out to build a lab where saffron could grow year-round under fully automated, climate-controlled conditions.
How our lab works
The lab is automated end to end, controlling the three factors that matter most for saffron:
- Temperature through high-precision chillers
- Light through calibrated full-spectrum LED panels
- Humidity through IoT-enabled sensors and controls
Women at the heart of our farm
Our entire operational workforce, from crop care to harvesting, is women. By training and employing women from nearby areas, we are cultivating livelihoods as well as saffron.

Saffron is only the beginning. We plan to extend the same automation and AI-driven systems to cordyceps, microgreens and other high-value crops.
